About Aditya Gupta

I build AI tools that solve commercial problems - backed by 10+ years of hands-on business building.

I currently work as a Working Student in AI Strategy & Market Intelligence at Siemens Energy, where I've built the department's AI assistant (answer accuracy improved from ~80% to ~90-95%), a Power BI dashboard analyzing 30 years of global order data, and AI automations for review mining and meeting intelligence - alongside competitor benchmarking, persona research, pricing analysis, and roadmap-shaping work for industrial software and AI offerings.

Before Siemens Energy, I built an AI RAG assistant at BMW Group that was adopted by 12 consultants across international markets (~2-3 hours/week saved each), and worked on consulting and market-entry research at Bundesdruckerei. Earlier, I spent years building and operating businesses through KS Plastic and Walnuts - launching products, building sales systems and paid acquisition from scratch, and growing revenue from about €1M to over €3M.

I also ship things outside work: Wattlas, an open-source global energy-demand radar now used by Siemens Energy colleagues; a real €1,500 AI-creative ad campaign for Nextbike that grew market penetration in León, Spain by 30%+; and open-source tools on GitHub. That mix of enterprise strategy work and operator experience shapes how I approach problems: turn complex information into clear decisions, then build the tool that makes the decision real.

01

AI builder in real workflows

I've built and shipped AI that teams actually adopted: a RAG assistant at BMW (12 consultants, ~2-3 hours/week saved each, localized to South Africa and Australia), the Vibration Co-Pilot at Siemens Energy (~90-95% answer accuracy, now capturing retiring experts' knowledge through structured interviews), review-mining agents, a meeting-automation pipeline, and Wattlas - a live, open-source energy-demand radar built with agentic AI coding tools. I also run local LLMs via Docker and am fine-tuning a vision model through Google Cloud's AI/ML path.

02

Enterprise strategy and product work

At Siemens Energy, BMW Group, and Bundesdruckerei, I have worked on competitor benchmarking (6 global players, 50+ feature areas, 1,000+ sources), personas, pricing and packaging questions, market-entry research, and decision-ready presentations. The common thread is turning research into clearer product, go-to-market, and roadmap choices - with a 30-year order-data dashboard now grounding those discussions in the department's own numbers.

03

Builder and operator background

Before my recent roles in Germany, I spent years building and running businesses in India. At KS Plastic I launched 7 products, built Google Ads from zero and scaled it ~40x on measured ROI, migrated 1,500 records from paper notebooks to a fully automated HubSpot CRM, and supported growth from about €1M to over €3M in revenue. At Walnuts, I co-founded and scaled a custom apparel business from €250 to €30k+, winning accounts such as KPMG and Maruti Suzuki.

04

Communication and leadership

I care a lot about explaining ideas well. My MBA at HHL, client and leadership presentations, my time as Head of Marketing for the Venture Capital Club (grew the page to the most-followed student club at HHL), and earlier experiences leading football teams have all strengthened how I present, collaborate, and lead. I also build content systems - from a YouTube channel with 11k+ subscribers and 3M+ views to this website's own SEO and GEO setup - and mentor aspiring developers at WeThinkCode (South Africa) on using AI in their careers.
